Certainly shooting involves very different skills to staying on a horse whilst moving at speed and jumping over increasingly high walls. <br> <br> BUT ! you said that you admire the skills of expert marksmen, then surely if millions are going to be spent on building and then demolishing a shooting venue in Woolwich, why not spend the same (or less) money on developing one of the many current shooting venues around London and turn it into a permanent, lasting, post olympics facility that continue to hone the skills of those highly skilled markesmen and women. <br> <br> As for tiddlywinks, well if it were an olympic sport and in the same situation as shooting, where only a temporary venue was being constructed, to contain what I can only imagine as a very large cup into which competitors have to flick their tiddlys! Then the same argument stands.
